SPRINGFIELD, MA, January 8, 2019 – Consolidated Health Plans (CHP), a Berkshire Hathaway company specializing in student health and employee benefits, announced today that it has rebranded and is now known as Wellfleet.
The new brand reflects the company’s transformation from a third-party administrator to an accident and health insurance company. Built to innovate, Wellfleet is deeply committed to its core student health business and has launched a new product line, known as Wellfleet Workplace.
“The investment into rebranding was critical to our growth and development,” said Drew DiGiorgio, Wellfleet President and CEO.

Wellfleet unveiled its new name and logo at its 25th anniversary celebration event in November, which attracted more than 200 people, including employees, brokers, and clients. Wellfleet employs more than 160 people, many of whom are based at its corporate headquarters in Springfield, MA.
