Flights: Guests are asked to coordinate, book, and pay for their own flights.
Ground transportation: Wellfleet will provide group transportation for offsite dinners, as well as transportation for Tuesday golfing, sail, and dinner. Any additional transportation is up to our guests.
Yes! Uber is readily available.
Wellfleet will book and pay for lodging at Hotel Viking for the nights of September 20 & 21. Please provide details during the registration process in order to secure your room; if you do not require hotel accommodations, please indicate this during the registration process. Please ensure that your registration is submitted by August 6th in order for us to secure your room.

Hotel check-in: 4 PM
Hotel check-out: 11 AM
Hotel Viking cannot guarantee early check-in.
Hotel check-in is 4 PM – Plan your travel accordingly.
Newport National Golf Club is 5 miles from Hotel Viking. Wellfleet will provide golfers with shuttle service on September 21.
Spa: The spa day will take place at Hotel Viking at the newly renovated spa. We will try our best to give each guest one of their preferred spa treatments.
Golf: Golf will take place at Newport National. A round of golf, rentals, and transportation will all be covered by Wellfleet.
Explore Newport: You will have the option to explore Newport on your own! Shopping, restaurants, and sightseeing are all just minutes away from Hotel Viking.
There are many activities just minutes away from the hotel. i.e. Church Street is a 4-minute walk, and Thames Street is a 13-minute walk. Both are known for their waterfront shops, restaurants, and bars.
Monday Dinner: Casual BBQ. There will be croquet, cornhole, and giant Jenga– dress accordingly!
Dress casually and as appropriate for your selected Tuesday activities.
Tuesday Sail/Dinner: It is recommended that guests bring appropriate attire for sailing. I.e. sweaters, jackets, hats, sneakers, and/or rain slickers. Heels are not recommended to wear on/during the sail. Dinner will take place immediately following the sail.
Temperatures in New England, especially by the sea, can vary – we recommend packing a sweater or light coat. There are a lot of great restaurants, shopping, and sightseeing within walking distance from Hotel Viking. If you plan to explore, bring good walking shoes!
Wellfleet will provide all group meals, beverages, and sponsored group entertainment activities.

Although masks are not required for those that are fully vaccinated, it’s recommended you wear one when you cannot social distance. We will have plenty of masks and hand sanitizers for all guests throughout the event.

The spa at Hotel Viking is booked all day on Tuesday. Some spots may open up on the day of the event, and you can check with the spa directly to see what is available.
